In this REMOTE UK role you'll report to the SysOps & Infrastructure Manager, (in New Zealand), you’ll be responsible for building and supporting cloud-based infrastructure solutions, while ensuring the maintenance, development, troubleshooting, and provisioning of enterprise-level Teletrac Navman platforms.

You’ll be supported by and collaborate with regional and global operations teams, product management, and other R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions and enjoy flexible work arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package.

Your expertise in AWS Cloud, strong technical skills, and customer-centric mindset will be crucial in driving success in this position.

What you’ll be doing:

As a key contributor, you will play a vital role and be instrumental in maintaining uptime, supporting Helpdesk operations, troubleshooting incidents, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.

  • Implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions: Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure solutions aligned with project requirements.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot systems: Perform routine maintenance, system patching, and troubleshooting on all systems to ensure uptime and adherence to SLAs.

  • Support Helpdesk operations: Act as a key escalation point, providing support for Helpdesk and TFS tickets in a 24/7 model.

  • Troubleshoot incidents and implement preventive measures: Identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures to ensure application stability, scalability, and resiliency with 99.5% uptime or above.

  • Optimize cloud infrastructure: Conduct cost analysis and optimization of cloud infrastructure, manage cloud providers, and migrate new systems to the cloud when required.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with global cross-functional teams to maximize uptime of SaaS solutions and deliver high-quality integrations with third-party vendors.

  • Manage infrastructure projects: Manage project workload for new and existing infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company SLAs.

  • Automate deployment and monitoring: Create tools for automating deployment, monitoring, and operations of the overall platform as needed.

What we’re looking for:

Along with the skills and experience shown below, applicants must have AWS Solution Architect Associate certification

  • 2+ years of experience in infrastructure and systems engineering.

  • 2+ years of service delivery experience with AWS Cloud.

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and relevant Windows technologies.

  • Experience with Microsoft server and Microsoft IIS technologies, including clustered and load-balanced technology implementation.

  • Understanding of high-scale, high-performance, security, and best practices.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Technical problem solver with strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and build successful working relationships.

  • Ownership mentality with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.

  • Practical experience with UNIX/LINUX Server and writing Puppet integration and/or Terraform modules is desirable.

  • Advanced network knowledge, including DNS, switching, routing, and firewall configuration, would be a plus.
