Vontier Electrical Engineer, Hydrogen in Janesville, Wisconsin

Join the hydrogen team at ANGI Energy Systems as an Electrical Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and sustaining electrical systems for hydrogen refueling equipment and stations. This engineer is responsible for:

  • Full hydrogen refueling station electrical ESD, power distribution, connectivity, and instrumentation design.

  • Electrical control panel design.

  • Creating product technical drawings using AutoCAD electrical.

  • Creating and sustaining product bill of materials.

  • Providing engineering support for manufacturing.

  • Supporting customer inquiries and technical issues.

  • Designing electrical system test equipment for factory acceptance testing.

Who you are (qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • 5+ years in electrical systems design

  • 5+ years in electrical systems design

Knowledge of and/or experience with:

  • AutoCAD Electrical.

  • High-power electrical systems design.

  • Electrical instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flowrate, etc sensors and measurement devices)

  • Revision control and part management systems to maintain electrical systems bill of materials and drawings, such as PTC Windchill and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

  • Industry standards such as CSA, UL, ATEX, HazLoc, EMC, EMI, FCC, LVD, NFPA, NEC, RoHS, WEEE, SIL, and PL.

  • IoT strategies for connected devices.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and industry standards. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
