We are looking for a Global Product Manager who will be provided with cross-functional ownership of a dynamic product portfolio and given full responsibility for all aspects of the product line including driving the organic growth of the business through new product development/commercialization, existing product sales expansion, product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, pricing, and Voice of Customer (VOC).

Drive portfolio roadmap, by customer engagement, Voice of Customer VOC gathering, market and technology trend analysis and prioritization.
Focuses on future product requirements, both enhancements as well as breakthroughs.
Build business cases for new products, product enhancements and other strategic investments by mastering changes in the key market, technologic and customer drivers.
Drive global product growth by actively understanding regional dynamics, identifying opportunities and participating in the creation of Sales Funnels.
Work cross-functionally to lead new product development including: commercialization, life-cycle management, line extensions, and breakthroughs
Due to the strategic and critical nature of this role, the opportunity affords multiple career paths in the short- and long-term. Typically, advancement occurs within Marketing to senior roles within Product Management but also expands to other leadership roles within Sales and Channel. Long-term potential includes Senior Leadership roles within the organization and Fortive in general.
P&L responsibility for a strong and industry leader product line.
Command of the business portfolio including products, revenue in whole and by products, pricing and profitability.
Drive global product revenue by actively identifying global opportunities and participating in the creation of Sales Funnels and business cases.
Lead new product development including: commercialization, life-cycle management, line extensions, and breakthroughs
Gather VOC and prioritizing needs in price / performance on product lines. Focuses on future product requirements, both enhancements as well as breakthroughs.
Build business cases for new products, product enhancements and other strategic investments by having a command of the key drivers and the sensitivity of the model to changes in the key drivers.

Bachelor’s degree required, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering degree and MBA desired
At least 3-5 years of progressive marketing, business or technical management experience required
