Vontier Financial Analyst II in Stow, Ohio

You will be based at our headquarters in Stow, Ohio and work on a hybrid schedule: on site Tuesdays through Thursdays, and from home Mondays and Fridays.

As a Financial Analyst II, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, driving critical insights and supporting strategic decision-making. Your expertise will directly impact our bottom line, ensuring we stay on course toward growth and success. Here’s what makes this role exciting:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strategic Insights and Forecasting:

  • Forecast, analyze, and report on revenue across channels, categories, and regions. Dive deep into the numbers, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights.

  • Evaluate investments in new business offerings. Your recommendations will shape our future ventures.

Financial Modeling and Optimization:

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models. These models will be our compass, guiding us through complex financial landscapes.

  • Examine and interpret financial data to identify opportunities for process enhancements and profitability gains. Your insights will drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Close Process and Reporting:

  • Assist in the monthly close activities. You’ll be the wizard behind the scenes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare and distribute financial statements —monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Your work will be the cornerstone of our financial transparency.

Collaboration and Impact:

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing:

  • Forecast sales and margin to hit our targets. Your insights will steer our revenue ship.

  • Review monthly performance alongside the Sales and Marketing team. Together, we’ll fine-tune our strategies.

Ad-Hoc Projects and Beyond:

  • Fulfill external requests from Corporate HQ, Census Bureau, and auditors. Your responsiveness will keep our stakeholders informed.

  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports. Your agility will be our secret weapon.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant Finance experience. You’ve honed your financial acumen and are ready for the next level.

  • Analytical and quantitative skills. Numbers don’t intimidate you; they inspire you.

  • Ability to work well with all levels of management. Your collaborative spirit bridges gaps and fosters teamwork.

  • Strong computer skills:

  • Microsoft Excel: You’re a wizard with spreadsheets.

  • J D Edwards: Familiarity with this enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a plus.

  • Business Intelligence (BI): You know how to extract insights from data.
